New for 2026

Gaming is proud to announce that we have a number of new gaming opportunities for 2026. Join us for these exciting new opportunities:

  • Chip Theory Games will be demoing board games in the Open Gaming Area.  There are even rumors that they might be showing off the newly-minted Elder Scrolls board game!
  • The Royal Manticoran Society will be running the collaborative video game experience Artemis Starship Bridge Simulator !  Join your fellow co-goers in a tactical simulation that requires coordination, collaboration, and moxie!
  • Rakshasa Games will be demoing Witches Quarrel, a new 2-player legacy game on Fri-Sun.
  • There will be a Munchkin tournament! Outwit and outlast your opponents to claim bragging rights!
  • The Sleever Hive will be hosting a Magic: The Gathering tournament!  See the gaming front desk for more information!

Host a Game

CONvergence Gaming is always looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to host gaming events! Please see our Host a Game page for more information!

Gaming Schedule

The final schedule can be found on the CONvergence schedule website and Sched app. We may add additional events or move them so check the whiteboards at the Gaming Front Desk for the most up-to-date list!

Sign-up Process:

New this year — The game sign-ups for each day will be put out the previous day at 4:00 pm.  This should help reduce the congestion at the Gaming Front Desk and make signing up more equitable for all of our attendees.

Note: Signing up for an event on the Sched.org page or app does not constitute an actual sign-up. To register, you’ll need to come and sign up in person at the Gaming Front Desk.

Gaming Front Desk

Located in the 4th floor Great Lakes Promenade area of the Hyatt Regency, this is where you sign up to join an existing game, reserve a table, record Gaming volunteer hours, have your questions answered, or to inquire about hosting a game of your own. Watch the white boards located here for Gaming announcements and to look for other players for a game you’d like to play.

Hours are subject to change depending on volunteer availability.

  • Thursday 9:00am – 10:00pm
  • Friday 9:00am – 10:00pm
  • Saturday 9:00am – 10:00pm
  • Sunday 9:00am – 3:00pm
