The Sensory Break Room is is located in suite 4101 on the 4th floor of the Hyatt Regency, next to the parenting room. With training and support provided by the Autism Society of Minnesota, it is the ideal place to take a break with minimal distractions. Loud activity and other distracting behavior is discouraged. Sound and light will be filtered. Fidget toys and other activities will be available to help visitors quietly reenergize.

Hours
Because of staffing issues, hours may be reduced this year. If you find yourself in need of a sensory break outside of staffed hours, please see First Advisors to use their sensory spaces.
Sensory Break Room Hours
- Thursday 4:00pm – 10:00pm
- Friday 4:00pm – 10:00pm
- Saturday 4:00pm – 10:00pm
- Sunday Noon – 4:00pm
Hours may be extended earlier and/or later as volunteer staffing is available.

Expectations
Please respect the following in order to keep the Sensory Break Room as accessible as possible for everyone.
- Loud activity and other distracting behavior is discouraged.
- Napping, eating, and drinking beverages other than water are not allowed in the room.
- Scents such as perfumes and colognes should be washed off before entering the room.
If you need a quiet, controlled space to eat or to take medication, we suggest the First Advisors room or The Bridge. If you need a quiet, controlled space to feed a child, we suggest the Parenting Lounge.
