Or maybe your special skill is leading a discussion and helping keep everyone on-topic. Ever thought about moderating panels? Moderators are the un-sung heroes of convention programming.
Being part of panels at CONvergence is one of the fastest ways to meet people and network at the convention, plus it is a lot of fun too!
The best CONvergence panel discussions happen when people with different perspectives talk about something they are all passionate about. We are constantly seeking new and different panelists every year, including panelists whose experiences being part of a marginalized group have informed their passions and perspectives.

Volunteering to be a panelist is very easy, and anybody can do it.

Every year, a veritable army of dedicated individuals and groups give their time, energy and resources to dazzle us with some of the most creative parties ever. Any individual, group, club, business, or organization may apply to host a room party or a mobile party at CONvergence.

The Next ConCom Meeting
The CONvergence Convention Committee (ConCom) is a team of over 200 year-round volunteer leaders and staff who plan and orchestrate everything that makes CONvergence what it is!
The next ConCom meeting is Sunday, February 15, 2025. Everyone is welcome to attend ConCom meetings.

Help Produce CONvergence Print Publications
Do you have, or would you like to add to your experience producing print publications? CONvergence is currently seeking motivated volunteers to manage the production of at-con program books. Experience with zine/print publishing and/or Adobe InDesign is a huge plus! This is a ConCom leadership position with the majority of the workload in the Spring, before the print deadline.
