Badged Areas at the Convention

Beginning this year we are expanding the area of Badged Convention Space in the North/Short tower. Where previously just the Art Show (and the stairs near it) was badged on the first floor plaza level, this year the entire plaza area (not including the area around the elevators and the adjacent outside door) will be badged space. This means all of the first floor programming rooms, Art Show, Theater Nippon, and Cinema Rex will now be in badged space.

There are many reasons for the change, but they are mostly dry and boring. Feel free to ask a Convention Committee Member if you are curious.

This does mean that public non-member access to the first floor of the north tower will be limited to the West Door (the door closest to the elevator banks). If you are a badged member of the convention (and you are wearing your badge!), you may enter the East Door (near to Cinema Rex).
