Art Show

The art show features art submitted by artists from all over the country. Every year brings new and different art to the show, so there is always something interesting to see. The art is displayed for sale to the convention membership via an auction system. If enough bids are placed on an item, it goes to the voice auction on Saturday night.

Now that the convention is permanently a four day convention, we are looking to expand on our regular activities. We would love to see more artists doing demos. And we are looking at doing a tour of the art show on Friday night. If you are an artist and would like to participate in either of these activities, or have an idea for another activity, please contact us at artshow@convergence-con.org.

The forms and guidelines for this year's art show are available now for download. They are in both PDF and Word Document formats. Please fill out the forms and email them in. You can bring them with you to the show as well, but if we receive them ahead of time it will speed up your checkin process considerably.
Note: We are not mailing these forms out by postal mail this year.

The PDF forms are now fillable, which means you can save them to your computer, fill them in and save them. Then you can either email them in, or print them out to mail or bring with you.

The Art Show hours are tenatively:

• Wednesday - Noon to 6pm (Artist Checkin)
• Thursday - 10am to 2pm (Artist Checkin)
• Thursday - 2pm to 8pm
• Friday - 10am to 8pm
• Saturday - 10am to 6pm
• Saturday - 9pm (Art Auction)
• Sunday - 10am to 2pm (Art Pickup)

We are constantly trying to improve the art show, both for the artists, and the patrons. If you can think of any way we might be able to improve the show, please let us know. We'll see what we can make happen. Not all suggestions are possible (we wish we could take credit cards just as much as you do), but we will discuss any suggestions we receive and see what we can do.

The show is entirely run by volunteers, so we are always looking for help running the show. If you are interested in helping out, please drop us an email at artshow@convergence-con.org.
