Come on in - We're Bad For You.
ConSuite at Convergence is a place for attendees to find food, soft drinks, conversation and occasional special events. Every year, we try new “WOW” foods and try to coordinate some activities with a guest or two
Connie Mark II has graciously allowed Consuite to be run by JT Thompson, Dave Kingsley, Liz Hernandez, Uriel McMillan, Bonnie Younger, and Ethan Krueger, along with multiple subheads and all the volunteers we can get. She is overseeing the entire operation, though, so you might notice some changes to the menu. We will try to serve thousands of fans, non-stop throughout the convention. If you'd like to help out, we've teamed up with (piggy-backed shamelessly onto) the Volunteers department to get online signup for ConSuite Minions. For those who have not been to Consuite before, we aim to give people something resembling food and drink, 24 hours a day, from Thursday afternoon to Sunday (when we run out, or drop in our tracks, whichever happens first). Although you'll find a reasonable selection of foods, and (we hope) a sufficient quantity of them, we cannot provide your full nutritional requirements for the entire convention. You should count on getting some real food at real restaurants (or homes, if you live nearby).
Smoking
Really, everyone should know this by now, but smoking is not permitted in the Sheraton Hotel, which, oddly enough, includes ConSuite. This is in accordance with city and state law, as well as hotel policy.
Events
Connie has decided to kick things off with a party at ConSuite before Opening Ceremonies “officially” launches the convention. Come on down and see what we've got to offer, starting at 3:00 Thursday afternoon (our normal opening time). We'll try and make it worth your while to have slipped away from work when the boss wasn't looking.
After Convergence is done on Sunday, the truly dedicated (and the insane) continue to work, making the hotel normal again for Monday. Those faithful few are rewarded with a Dead Dog party Sunday night, after ConSuite and the other departments spend some time packing and cleaning up. We're intentionally starting it an hour or so after Closing Ceremonies has ended, so find a department that needs your help, help them get things organized, and then join the rest of us down at ConSuite to relax, and enjoy some more free food.

- Rice (and assorted sauces/toppings for it)
- Hot Soup (some of which is vegetarian)
- PB&J Sandwiches
- Fruits and vegetables
- Chips and dip
- Sweet candies
- Milk, Chocolate Milk, and OJ
- Soda (Pepsi products, Mountain Dew)
- Breakfast cereal and bagels
- Various "Wow" foods (pizza, sub sandwiches, nachos, LeeAnn Chin, ...) at unannounced times
As a final note, and a subtle hint, we'd like to give a big THANK YOU to all our volunteers, especially those who are from out of town and come back to help us year after year. ConSuite would not be possible without you!
