Who’s running the CONvergence Masquerade?

The Masquerade is currently being produced by Erin Kasper. Erin has produced several juggling competitions and was the Entertainment Director at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for three years. Erin and her great staff look foward to making this year’s masquerade a tremendous success.

What are the dimensions of the stage?

The stage is approximately 15 feet deep (front to back) and 25 feet wide. There are both steps and a ramp leading to the stage.

How do I enter the Masquerade?

You can sign up for Masquerade at the convention but if you would like to send you registration in advance, we encourage you to do so. The Masquerade registration form on line. Check the Masquerade section for frequent updates.

How does the Technical Rehearsal work?

Technical Rehearsal is the time when the crew works with the performer to create the best possible lighting, sound and stage effects for the performance.

Tech times are given out on a first come first served basis. Time slots are 15 minutes long. So, register early to get your preferred time slot.

Technical Rehearsal is from 12 to 3pm Saturday.

Can I use fire, pyrotechnics and or weapons in my performance?

No fire or pyrotechnics are allowed. Weapons and stage combat must be approved by the shows producer PRIOR to technical rehearsal.
